- Location: Primarily the Ayung River, Ubud – approximately 90 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and 20–30 minutes from central Ubud.
- Difficulty Level: Class I to Class III rapids – safe for first-timers, children aged 7 and above, and non-swimmers (with life jackets provided).
- Trip Duration: Rafting itself takes 1.5 to 2 hours; full tour including transfers and lunch is usually 4–5 hours.
- What to Expect: Glide past towering green cliffs, dense jungle, wild orchids, and small waterfalls. Along the way, you will pass traditional rice terraces and local settlements, with stops to swim in calm pools or take photos.
- What to Bring: Swimsuit, quick-dry clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, a change of clothes, and waterproof bag for personal items.
- Best Time to Go: April to October (dry season) offers stable water levels and sunny weather; rafting is still available in rainy season but rapids may be stronger
